We will be happy to credit you for returns if they are shipped back to us in the original, undamaged cartons, with all of the appropriate pieces in resaleable condition, with some exceptions. We cannot credit you for rods once they have been installed. We cannot credit you for custom made rods or rods that have been cut, stained or painted. Returns MUST be made within SIXTY days of purchase, damage claims within TEN days. Do not return damaged rods to us. Call for instructions. Any refused items will received credit for merchandise only. Unfortunately, we cannot credit you for shipping costs, including any UPS oversize surcharges. On exchanges, you will be recharged for shipping, unless, of course, it was our error or your rod was damaged in transit. Then we will assume the cost of shipping the correct items and picking up the incorrect items.
EXCEPTIONS ON WHICH YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A FULL CREDIT AND ITEMS THAT ARE FINAL SALES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The 1 3/8" decorative metal poles, the decorative traverse rods, and the finials and rings that may accompany them are considered a special order and are FINAL sales.
2. Items needing to be repackaged are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
3. All items in the decorative metal accessories, the decorative one inch poles, Mix and Match pole sets, and the iron collection as well as the maxi wood poles are also subject to 25% restocking fees.
4. Any items returned to the distribution center instead of us, without previous authorization will NOT receive a credit.
TO ENSURE YOU WILL RECEIVE A CREDIT:
1. Package returns carefully. Do not ship them in the manufacturer’s
cartons only. These boxes are not sturdy enough to survive reshipping.
2. For your own protection, be certain to insure packages you are
returning for the full amount of the contents. You will be responsible for damages
incurred in shipping back to us. We want to be certain that you will be
able to file a claim with the shipper who damaged your package.
3. Ship returns via UPS or Federal Express only. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS
SHIPPED VIA THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE.
4. Please be certain to ship all returns to us at Connecticut Curtain
Company at the above address and NOT the manufacturer. Please be certain to put
a return address on your carton, and to enclose a copy of your sales
receipt in the box. Please include your credit card number and the expiration
date. We cannot credit you if we do not know who you are!
